The City Pages lists the James J Hill Library as the Best Library for 2003. The title is well earned. The library is a beautiful space to do research – and a lot of the collection is available online – for those who can’t or don’t want to go downtown.
If you can visit the library, this week is a good chance to check it out because if you go for a tour from 11 am to 1 pm on May 14, 15, or 16 they will buy you lunch! There’s no need to RSVP.
If you can’t make it to the library, you can access a number of their resources online. In fact – I can give you the inside scoop on accessing a few proprietary databases.
