There’s a fun free tool that will help you search resources that have recently been added to Google – GooFresh. Type in a keyword phrase or URL, choose a time span (today, yesterday, last week, last month) and it will show you all of the web sites that have been indexed in that time frame that contain your search term.
First you’ll not that this information isn’t necessarily new – it just happens to be new to Google. I searched for my own name with a time limit of last week and found a press release that I had written in the summer of 2003.
So, how could this be useful? Well, it’s a great way to find out if anything has been said about you, your company, or product lately. (You could use it as a competitive intelligence tool.) It’s also a great way to track how long it takes for your new web page to be indexed.
